The project described here is a further example of the wide range of
building types Carlin/White has provided design and architectural
services for in the past.
From the very
beginning of this project, Nolan insisted on developing a project that
would first service his community and then provide an exhibit space for
his incredible baseball career.
The primary
function of the facility was therefore developed as a continuing
education center for Alvin Community College, which is also used as a
banquet facility, and a meeting and conference facility for the entire
community of Alvin.
In this case, the
client's commitment to the design concept and the architectural
character of the building was essential in achieving a successful
project.
Carlin/White
Associates differentiates itself from other architectural firms in both
its wide range of experience in developing different types of projects,
and its ability to design a project with a combination of aesthetics and
economics that helps to make each project both architecturally and
financially successful.
