The 1800 Bering Drive Office Building is one of Houston's most recognized office structures, located in one of Houston's most prestigious areas, just west of the Houston Galleria.  It is also an excellent example of Carlin/White architectural design of mid-rise office buildings.

The project consists of 172,000 square feet of office space, and a five story concrete parking garage.

In addition to a dramatic exterior, the building's black granite entry lobby is a stand out that continues to hold it's classic look over time.

Budgeting constraints associated with such projects are one of the major considerations in creating a successful design. 

But regardless of project size, the understanding and orchestration of the many complex issues involved is the key to successfully blending both aesthetics and economics.

Ultimately, we try to put the money where the sizzle is, and not bury it in unappreciated architectural detail.
