Carlin/White Associates was established by H. Stephen White in 1973 in Houston Texas.  Since then, the firm has practiced Architecture primarily in Texas, but many projects have taken Carlin/White to other states as well as the international market.

What differentiates Carlin/White from almost all other architectural firms is that we come to each project with experience and an understanding of real estate development, and the economics that make projects financially successful.

When projects are not designed from that standpoint, construction costs are often inappropriately high, which unfortunately contributes to the failure of projects that might otherwise be successful.

Both architect principals of Carlin/White Associates are board certified by the N.C.A.R.B. and therefore have reciprocity in most other states.

Carlin/White Associates is a full service Architectural firm, providing its clients with a wide variety of architectural services, honed through extensive experience in many building types and interiors, as well as in-depth experience in real estate development.

The broad scope of client projects has allowed Carlin/White to be involved in the design of freestanding buildings in highly specialized niche markets, as well as large mixed-use commercial projects.

Interior architectural projects have had a similar variety, from relatively simple retail space to the provision of comprehensive architectural design services for large property owners to major national and international companies.
